Milestone,SANY RE Unveils New Manufacturing Base in Kazakhstan
1 December 2024On November 29th (UTC+5), the groundbreaking ceremony for SANY Renewable Energy's newly established wind power manufacturing base was successfully held in the Zhambyl Region, Kazakhstan.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Yerbol Karashukeyev, Governor of Jambyl Region; Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna JSC; Jiang Wei, Consul General of China in Almaty; and Mr. Zhou Fugui, Chairman of SANY Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. and others.
The Wind Power Manufacturing Base
SANY Renewable Energy's wind power manufacturing base is located in the Economic Zone of Zhambyl Region. Pioneering concepts such as "green building, green technology, green materials, green equipment, and carbon-neutral factory," the facility is designed to achieve high standards of environmental safety and energy efficiency.
Mr. Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Samruk-Kazyna JSC, emphasized that Samruk-Kazyna JSC plans to deepen cooperation with SANY Renewable Energy, jointly promoting the improvement of energy efficiency and the development of green economy in Kazakhstan.
Mr. Zhou Fugui, Chairman of SANY Renewable Energy, remarked that building this wind power manufacturing base aims to make it a world-class benchmark factory for intelligent manufacturing with a demonstration effect. SANY Renewable Energy will accelerate localized development and making positive contributions to Kazakhstan's new energy development and environmental protection.
Establishing this manufacturing base in Central Asia marks a significant milestone for SANY Renewable Energy. We will continue to advance the development of clean energy industries along the Belt and Road, contributing to the clean energy transition and supporting Kazakhstan and the broader Central Asian region in achieving their carbon neutrality goals.
