Skanska signs additional contract to build a data center in Telemark, Norway, for NOK 569M, about SEK 560M

Skanska has signed a contract with WS Computing AS to build the core and shell for a new data center facility at Gromstul in Skien municipality, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 569M, about SEK 560M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2024.
Skanska has signed a contract with WS Computing AS to build the core and shell for a new data center facility at Gromstul in Skien municipality, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 569M, about SEK 560M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2024.
The contract consists of constructing the core and shell for a new hyperscale data center. Work includes building the external envelope including wall cladding, windows, doors and roof coverings, security and other fencing, and various ancillary buildings.
Earlier this year, Skanska signed a contract for this project for NOK 1.1 billion.The total contract value is now about NOK 1.7 billion, about SEK 1.6 billion.
Construction will start immediately and is expected to be completed during December 2025.
