Webuild subsidiary Lane Construction has won a $190m contract to upgrade Interstate 4 in Polk County, Florida.
Lane’s scope of work includes a reconstruction of the existing interchange to accommodate increased traffic and a future rail corridor.
Lane will also widen 8km of State Road 33 and relocate signs, utilities, lighting and markings, as well as building two bridges for animal crossings.
The interchange will have a diamond design with multi-lane on and off-ramps, and two ramp terminals that will be metered by roundabouts.
