CAMC signs contract for agricultural mechanization project in Nigeria
19 October 2024
China CAMC Engineering Co and Nigeria's Agra Group signed a contract for the Agricultural Mechanization Center project in Jigawa State, Nigeria on October 11, marking the formal launch of the project.
The contract includes the design and construction of the agricultural mechanization center, procurement of machinery and equipment, and development of necessary support facilities.
In recent years, CAMC has continued to advance its integrated development strategy, leveraging its expertise in modern agricultural machinery and equipment. This approach strengthens collaboration across the group, contributing to China's global push in advanced equipment manufacturing and agricultural technology.
The project serves as a practical realization of the Beijing Declaration on Jointly Building an All-Weather China-Africa Community with a Shared Future for the New Era, particularly the Plan for China Supporting Africa's Agricultural Modernization. It represents a substantial step forward in promoting agricultural development and improving people's living standards in Africa.
