The First Key Renewable Energy Power Project in New Capital Region of Indonesia Started
23 August 2024Recently, the IKN 50MW photovoltaic EPC project in Indonesia, undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the pile foundation works.
The project is located in East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, and is the first key renewable energy power project in Indonesia's new capital region. This project lays a solid foundation for the company to further penetrate the Indonesian new energy market. During its construction, the project will effectively drive local employment and enhance social welfare, thereby promoting regional economic development. Upon completion, the project will play a positive role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia, providing 93 gigawatt-hours of clean energy annually to the new capital region.
