China’s Sinoboom is building a factory in Mexico
19 August 2024Chinese lifting equipment manufacturer Sinoboom has broken ground on a 186,667-sq-m factory in Silao, central Mexico.
It will have the capacity to produce 20,000 units a year, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and vertical mast lifts.
Green Xu, Sinoboom’s director, said: “Over the past few years, the world has faced unprecedented challenges. The global pandemic, inflation pressures, and market fluctuations have tested us all. Sinoboom has remained resilient, thanks to our superior products and strong market position.
“This factory represents a crucial step in our mission to be a globally respected leader in the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry. By working with local talent, we bring a truly localised service to customers in all regions.”
The factory is due to be completed in 2028.
