Chinese lifting equipment manufacturer Sinoboom has broken ground on a 186,667-sq-m factory in Silao, central Mexico.

It will have the capacity to produce 20,000 units a year, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and vertical mast lifts.

“This factory represents a crucial step in our mission to be a globally respected leader in the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry. By working with local talent, we bring a truly localised service to customers in all regions.”

The factory is due to be completed in 2028.
