Good News | WIETC Wins Bid for Nampula Water Supply Project in Mozambique
13 August 2024Recently, the Mozambique market has brought exciting news as WIETC has been awarded the bid for the Nametil and Malema Water Supply Project in Nampula.
Situated in the Malema and Nametil districts of Nampula Province in northern Mozambique, the project is funded by the World Bank. The construction scope includes the repair of existing water supply networks and facilities, the construction of new water treatment plants and auxiliary infrastructure, the construction of new distribution networks, the supply of electrical and mechanical equipment, operation training, etc. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly ease the local water shortage and improve the accessibility of water for residents, promote the high-quality development of the local society and economy, and generate substantial social and economic benefits.
