Alghanim awarded reconstruction of Kuwait’s Souq Mubarakiya
28 March 2024Alghanim International, Kuwait announced in a statement that it has awarded the reconstruction of the section affected by fires in Souq Mubarakiya, a project led and financed by Kuwait Finance House (KFH).
The Company stated that, Souq Mubarakiya, is a 120-year-old heritage with a priceless historical value that represents the authenticity and uniqueness of Kuwait. We have a big responsibility ahead of us to preserve this heritage and its architecture that goes back to the beginning of the 20th century.
Once the heart of trade with neighboring countries, Africa and India, Souq Mubarakiya has over the years become a heritage market, one of the most famous tourist landmarks as it preserves its traditional setting and a great commercial and shopping destination.
We look forward to working with KFH in completing the reconstruction and thank them for their trust in our company, statement mentioned.
