Oman issues RFQ for the Development of Wind IPPs
19 March 2024Nama Power and Water Procurement (PWP), Oman announced the launch of the qualification process for the potential development of wind Projects on IPP model.
In line with Sultanate of Oman vision to diversify fuel sources and achieving net zero target by 2050 through the use of clean energy for power generation, PWP is planning to develop five Wind projects with a cumulative capacity of around 1000 MW at various location (“Wind IPPs” or “Projects”) in partnership with the private sector, projects details below:
PWP is announcing the launch of the qualification process for interested developers through the issuance of the Request for Qualification (RFQ) document.
Interesred Bidders need to submit Statement of Qualification by 08 May 2024, before 12pm (Gulf Standard Time).
