Bahrain receives Bids for Consultancy Services of New 66kV Substations

Electricity & Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain announces the receipt of Bidders Proposals for the Establishment of New 66kV Substations.
Four Bidders has submitted the proposals:
- ENERGOPROJEKT ENTEL LTD. – BHD 998,800
- SNC-Lavalin Major Projects Inc. – BHD 1,545,463.700
- ESBI ENGINEERING & FACILITY MANAGEMENT – BHD 1,548,385.850
- ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE – BHD 2,085,921.067
As per the tender notification, EWA proposes to execute a new Project namely, Establishment of New 66kV Substations Project, which is intended to be launched soon and to be executed during the coming 5 years.
The scope of this limited tender includes : Carrying out the required technical and engineering studies, defining the detailed scope of the Project, preparing technical specifications and engineering designs, preparing the tender documents necessary for the implementation of the Project and qualifying the appropriate contractors, conducting tenders and evaluating offers, and supervising the contractors during the Project implementation as per contracts.
