Skanska has been awarded a data centre in Arizona and has taken a stake in a residential project in Warsaw.
In the US, the company has signed a $87m deal with an existing client to build a single-storey data centre with a 22,300 sq m footprint.
Construction on the project is under way and is due to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
In Poland, Skanska will invest $32m in an expansion of the Stilla residential development in the Polish capital.
This will add two buildings, measuring four and eight storeys to the complex. These will contain 179 units.
The new buildings will have green roofs, photovoltaic panels, lifts with energy recovery and air quality sensors. It is designed to achieve BREEAM certification.
There will also be an inner courtyard with a greenhouse where residents can grow fruit and vegetables.
The new residencies will be controlled by a smart home system, which can reduce costs by 18% through a mobile app that manages lighting, electrical sockets and heating.
Skanska’s scope includes renovating local urban infrastructure, such as pavements and lighting.
