Jeddah Central Development Co. awards $3.2 Billion Contracts

Jeddah Central Development Company announced in a statement that it has signed 4 major construction contracts worth 12 billion Saudi Riyals for the 3 major architectural landmarks; the Stadium, the Opera House and the Oceanarium, in addition to the infrastructure and utilities works for phase one of JeddahCentral Destination.
The Projects awarded to following Companies:
- Consortium of “China Railway Construction Corp. LTD Saudi Branch” and “Sama Construction for Contracting.
- Modern Building Leaders Company
- China Harbor Engineering Arabia LTD
The consortium of “China Railway Construction Corp. LTD Saudi Branch” and “Sama Construction for Contracting” has been awarded the construction contract for JeddahCentral Destination’s Stadium. The stadium, designed in a unique contemporary architecture and international specs, will have a capacity of 45,000 fans, is FIFA complaint, and will host major local and international games.
JeddahCentral Destination Opera House Contract awarded to “Modern Building Leaders Company”. The Opera House, through its 3 major halls with international specifications, will be a platform for creativity and inspiration to position Jeddah as a cultural hub.
JeddahCentral Destination Oceanarium Contract awarded to “Modern Building Leaders Company”. The Oceanarium will be a window to the wonders of the Red Sea and provide an unparalleled experience to visitors, while advocating for marine biodiversity protection.
Jeddah Central Development Company JCDC has awarded the construction contract for the infrastructure and utilities works for phase one of JeddahCentral Destination to “China Harbor Engineering Arabia LTD”. JeddahCentral Destination aims to place the city of Jeddah on the global tourism map through reviving its heritage and celebrating its contemporary culture.
