Skanska invests CZK 1 billion, about SEK 480M in the second phase of the residential development project Modransky cukrovar in Prague, Czech Republic. This phase will offer 126 apartments and 6 commercial units.
Skanska invests CZK 1 billion, about SEK 480M in the second phase of the residential development project Modransky cukrovar in Prague, Czech Republic. This phase will offer 126 apartments and 6 commercial units.
The concept of low-impact living is interwoven throughout the project, from high energy efficiency of buildings to the use of recycled materials and extensive blue, green and grey infrastructure. Modransky cukrovar aspires to achieve a BREEAM rating, level Excellent.
The dominant features in the project will be a new central square and a pedestrian zone, a linear park for recreation and a revitalized part of the Vltava river embankment. Artistic installations from the work of Czech sculptors resulting from the Art.Cukrovar open competition will be placed in the park.
Comprising of more than 800 housing units in total, the project is delivered in six phases. The construction of the second phase starts in December 2023, and it is scheduled for completion at the end of 2025.
