Elsewedy to esablish SAR 1.2bn factory in Saudi Arabia

In a significant move aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Elsewedy Cables KSA has signed an agreement with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) to establish a new Special cables factory and Copper Rod factory in Yanbu Industrial City.
This strategic investment of SAR 1.2 billion underscores Elsewedy Cables KSA’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing capabilities and supporting the kingdom’s economic diversification goals.
The new Special cables factory will produce a diverse range of cables catering to various industries, including construction, power generation, and oil and gas. The Copper Rod factory, on the other hand, will focus on producing copper rods, essential raw materials for manufacturing electrical products such as cables, wires, and transformers.
This project is poised to create hundreds of new employment opportunities and contribute significantly to the development of Yanbu Industrial City and the local economy. The expansion of Elsewedy Cables KSA’s manufacturing footprint in Saudi Arabia reinforces its position as a leading player in the kingdom’s electrical industry and demonstrates its unwavering commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 aspirations.
