Bahrain receives lowest bid of $110.5m for Busaiteen Link Package Road Works

Ministry of Works, Bahrain received the bidders proposals for the Busaiteen Link Package 3: Roads for Muharraq Ring Road Phase-2 (From Junction 1 To Junction 4).
Follwoing three bidders submitted the proposals:
- Nass Contracting Co. W.L.L – BHD 41,569,158
- HAJI HASSAN GROUP – BHD 42,056,439
- Alghanim International General Trading and Contracting Co. – BHD 49,360,000
As per the tender notification, the Government of Bahrain as represented by the Ministry of Works intends to augment the existing road network by developing new road corridors to support the rapidly expanding economy of the Kingdom.
The proposed corridors include the Busaiteen Link. The works consists of the construction of 8.3km of dual 4 lane main highway, 2.4km of associated dual carriageway,3 storm surface water lifting stations & adjustment to airport runway approach lights in addition to all associated works as mentioned in tender documents & drawings.
The Contract duration is 64 weeks. The Project is funding by Saudi Fund.
