Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co., Saudi Arabia announces the awarding of the Long-Term O&M Contract for Sewage Treatment Plant Riyadh City – Heet &Al-Hayer STP’s Package 6  with National Water Company (NWC).

The value of the contract is SAR 2.18 billion.

As part of the contract, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. will perform Design, Rehabilitation Works, testing and commissioning, full operation and maintenance, handover, of the existing four sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Heet and Al-Hayer – Riyadh.

The STPs in this Package are: Heet 01 STP (HT1), Heet 02 STP (HT2) and Heet 03 STP (HT3), Al-Hayer STP (AHR).

The Rehabilitation shall be completed in two phases with total period of 36 months from the contract date. As well as the Operation and Maintenance for 15 years (180 months) from contract date, in conjunction with commencement of rehabilitation work.

The total design treatment capacity of the Plants is 780,000 m3/d.

The company stated that it will announce any future developments in this regard at the time, especially after receiving the final version of the agreement contract signed by all parties concerned.
