Sinomach and Angolan ministry of energy and water strengthen cooperation in infrastructure projects
29 October 2023On October 19, Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of Sinomach, held discussions with João Baptista Borges, the Angolan Minister of Energy and Water, focusing on deepening collaboration between the two entities. The meeting resulted in a consensus to strengthen their partnership, particularly in the development of critical infrastructure projects in Angola.
Zhang emphasized the pivotal role of the Angolan Ministry of Energy and Water as a key partner in Sinomach's active participation of the Belt and Road Initiative. He highlighted the significance of the year 2023, which marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Angola, as an opportunity to further enhance their cooperation.
Borges acknowledged and praised Sinomach's crucial contribution to Angola's vital infrastructure development. Sinomach has been instrumental in the construction of various significant projects in the country, supporting its economic growth and social progress. The minister expressed his appreciation for Sinomach's commitment to Angola's long-term development and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the two parties.
