Chris Zegler, Turner Construction’s vice-president, said: “We are eager to work with members of the community and look forward to achieving goals for employing diverse and local businesses on construction of this patient care tower.
“This project will tremendously improve patient experience, and we look forward to bringing this state-of-the-art facility to life.”
Funding for the development will come from a $195m tax-exempt bond from the Westchester County Local Development Corporation.
The Patient Care Tower is due to be completed in January 2026.
Turner is a subsidiary of German contractor Hochtief, which is controlled by Spanish contractor ACS.
