On October 16, Ren Shengjun, President of the Export-Import Bank of China, met withs Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. 

The two sides exchanged views on economic and financial situation and debt management of Ethiopia, and agreed to strengthen pragmatic cooperation in financing field, further promote the development of the China-Ethiopia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and form greater synergy in promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

Zhang Wencai, Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China and responsible persons of relevant departments attended the meeting.
