The Chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), Yu Jianfeng, held a meeting in Beijing on Sept 11th with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, Zhandos Nurmaganbetov. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation in various areas, including nuclear power plant construction, uranium resource development, natural uranium trade, and the application of nuclear technology. They hoped to further leverage their strengths, deepen cooperation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of nuclear energy in both countries.

The meeting was also attended by Shen Yanfeng, the deputy general manager of CNNC, as well as key officials from CNNC's Operation Management Department, Industry Development and International Cooperation Department, China Nuclear Energy Industry, China Nuclear Uranium Co. ,Ltd and China National Nuclear Corporation Overseas Ltd.
