Pakistan plans for road development works

Pakistan is setting out plans for a programme of road development works. A budget of US$1.57 billion has been set for the programme, which is being managed by the Executive Committee of Pakistan's National Economic Council (ECNEC).

Key roads to benefit from works will be the Khawazakhela - Besham Expressway and the Lahore-Sahiwal-Bahwalnagar Motorway Phase -I project.
