Ministry of Works, Bahrain received Bidders Proposals for the East Sitra Link Stage 1 Project.

Following seven bidders has submitted the proposals:

• HAMMED ABDULMOHSIN AL KHARAFI & SONS FOR GENERAL TRADING – BHD 18,441,000
• Sayed Kadhem Al Durazi & Sons BSC (c) – BHD 18,574,156.865
• KINGDOM ASPHALT CO.W.L.L – BHD 27,269,109.553
• Al Door Excavation & Building Contracting Co. W.L.L – BHD 31,126,458.659
• Cebarco Bahrain W.L.L – BHD 18,775,000

The project is proposed to be a prominent strategic road that offers excellent connectivity to Sitra Industrial Area, East Sitra Housing Project and other various development in the Southern Governate.

The project extends between the existing Salman Al Fateh Junction (Sitra Mall) in the North to Avenue 1 adjacent to Bapco’s Tank Farm in the south.

The works include earthworks, asphalt, block paving, road marking, traffic signals and construct two culverts to connect with East Sitra City.
