Skanska builds high school in Verdal, Norway, for NOK 308M, about SEK 320M

Skanska has signed contract with the county municipality in Trøndelag to build a new high school in Verdal. The contract is worth NOK 308M, about SEK 320M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.
Skanska has signed contract with the county municipality in Trøndelag to build a new high school in Verdal. The contract is worth NOK 308M, about SEK 320M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.
The project Verdal High School consists of a school building and a sports hall, containing approximately 8,000 square meters of new building. In addition, 1,900 square meters of the old school building will be renovated. The project will be fossil free during construction.
Construction is scheduled to start April 2023 and completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
