Skanska signs additional contract to build mixed-use building in Sandvika, Norway, for NOK 410M, about SEK 424M

Skanska has signed an additional contract with Andenæs Eiendom to build the next phase of Helgerudkvartalet in Sandvika, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 410M, about SEK 424M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.
Helgerudkvartalet is an urban development project in Sandvika, west of Oslo. This phase of the project consists of a mixed-use building containing approximately 8,500 square meters of housing, and 8,200 square meters of commercial space. The lower floors include shops and restaurants, and the higher floors contain three residential towers with 86 apartments. The project will be environmentally certified in accordance with BREEAM NOR Excellent.
Construction is scheduled to start December 2023 and completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
