A new bridge across the Mekong River is planned for Cambodia

A new bridge is being planned in Cambodia that will span the Mekong River. The project is being managed by the Cambodian Government and building the link is expected to cost US$230 million.
Construction of the bridge will improve transport between Kandal Province, Svay Rieng Province and Prey Veng Province. The new bridge will connect with the important Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway.
