Skanska builds extension to Ullersmo prison, Norway, for about SEK 335M

Skanska has signed a contract with Statsbygg to build an extension to Ullersmo prison in Kløfta, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 324M, about SEK 335M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.
The extension includes a total of approximately 7,000 square meters of both indoor and outdoor elements of the prison. The project is a collaboration between Skanska Norway Building and Skanska Husfabrikken, which produce modular building elements.
Construction is scheduled to start the first half of 2023 and completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
