Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with Khalifa University (KU) for the development of a Student Housing public-private partnership (PPP) project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The scope of work includes demolishing selected existing buildings and services, designing, building, commissioning, financing, and maintaining the new accommodation upon the expiry of the contract, handing back the accommodation to the Procuring Entity. The Project will be developed in two phases:

• Phase 1 SAN Campus (1,958 Beds) and Main Campus (700 Beds) being a total of 2,658 Beds; and
• Phase 2 additional buildings 8 & 9 in SAN Campus (592 additional beds).

The maximum period for mobilization, design, construction, commissioning of the Accommodation from the Financial Close to the Services Availability Date is 2 years for Phase 1 and three 3 years for Phase 2.
