Skanska builds data center in Arizona, USA, for USD 98M, about SEK 990M

Skanska has signed a contract with a data center operator to build a data center in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The contract is worth USD 98M, about SEK 990M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2022.
The project consists of a new two-story data center and office building in Phoenix, totaling approximately 80,000 square meters. This is Skanska’s second project on the client’s campus, and the first ground up project under a master contract agreement. The data center is the last building in a series of construction projects on the seven-acre campus.
Work is underway and is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
