Tender issued for multibillion High Speed Rail project in India

National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has launched a tender for the Construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project in India.
The 508 km high-speed rail project will run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. With a total investment of about USD10 billion, the Rail Corridor will operate at a speed of 320 km/hr and includes 12 stations.
The scope of work includes:
- Design and Construction of Civil and Building Works including Testing and Commissioning on Design Build Lump Sum Price Basis for Double Line High-Speed Railway involving Viaducts & Bridges (excluding fabrication and transportation of steel truss girder components);
- Maintenance Depot, Tunnels, Earth Structures and Stations (Thane, Virar and Boisar), between Shilphata in the State of Maharashtra and Zaroli at Maharashtra-Gujarat border from MAHSR 21.15 km to MAHSR 156.60 km.
The last date to submit the interest is March 14, 2023.
