CIMIC's Leighton Asia wins A$150M building project in India

CIMIC Group company Leighton Asia has been selected to construct the Aga Hall Estate, a high-rise residential project in Mumbai, India.
The contract will generate revenue of approximately A$150 million1 for Leighton Asia.
CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Juan Santamaria said: “Leighton Asia has more than 20 years of experience in delivering large-scale commercial and residential projects across India, which we are pleased to use to deliver these premium apartments in the heart of South Mumbai.”
Leighton Asia Managing Director Brad Davey said: “We are proud to be selected by the Prince Aly Khan Hospital Trust to support the ongoing growth of Mumbai. Our client’s confidence in our strong performance and safe delivery is a testament to our reputation for safety, quality and reliability as well as our leading position in the sector.”
Construction works comprise the delivery of two residential high rise towers - 45-storey and 56-storey - including three basements and five podiums across a 4.5 acre site with a total built-up area of approximately 153,700 sqm.
Construction is scheduled to commence in January 2023 and complete in 2026.
