Parsons Awarded $145m Contract in Saudi Arabia
22 October 2022Parsons Corporation announced its selection by the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to establish and operate an Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO) in an integrated fashion with the Ministry.
The five-year, $145 million contract includes set-up, staffing and operation of the EPMO; project management services for delivering current and future infrastructure programs; and training the Ministry’s Saudi national staff.
“Our knowledge and experience in the region will aid the Ministry of Housing in establishing, implementing, and ultimately handing over the project management organization services to the Ministry’s future professionals,” said Fouad Khoury, vice president and senior program director at Parsons. “We are honored to continue our partnership with the Ministry and look forward to a productive, prosperous future,”
Parsons has supported the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing since 2011 in providing studies, master planning, design, engineering, and construction supervision for projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This new contract was awarded in April 2022 and kicked off in May 2022.
