Faithful+Gould to project manage seven new office buildings in Abu Dhabi
8 August 2022Faithful+Gould, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has been awarded a contract to project manage the Masdar City Square (MC2) project in Abu Dhabi, which involves seven new office buildings including the emirate’s first net-zero energy one.
Masdar City, Abu Dhabi’s tech and sustainability hub, broke ground on MC2 in June. Set on a 29,000-sq-m site, it will include seven office buildings with a combined gross floor area of 50,000 sq m.
Faithful+Gould will manage project delivery, including quality assurance, quality control and environment, health and safety, managing design, construction activity and project close-out, including the evaluation and selection of other consultants.
Work is currently scheduled for completion in 2024.
Six of the MC2 buildings will be 4 Pearl Estidama, Leed Platinum, and Well Gold certified.
