Philippines PPP projects being prioritised
25 July 2022
Major transport infrastructure projects are being prioritised in the Philippines. All of the projects are PPP works and have been highlighted as of major importance by the country’s Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The projects include the US$1 billion Metro Cebu Expressway, Phase 11 of the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX), the Dingalan-Capas-Botolan Expressway measuring 190km and the Pangasinan-Nueva Ecija Expressway measuring 180km. Other priority PPP projects include a floating bridge measuring 15km, the Pacific-Eastern Seaboard Expressway measuring 226.5km and Phase II of the North Luzon Expressway East measuring 91km.
Major transport infrastructure works in the Philippines will cut chronic congestion. The Cebu Bridge project is one of the country's most important infrastructure works at present.
