China-aided Serbia National Stadium overhaul project starts

On February 25, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of the China-aided Sierra Leone National Stadium overhaul project was held in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone.
The project is mainly to renovate and repair the main stadium, swimming pool, athletes' dormitory and other ancillary infrastructure, renovate different stadiums, replace drainage, ventilation and other facilities, add plastic runways and athletes' passages, make the stadium Finally, it will reach the standard of holding international sports competitions.
The Sierra Leone National Stadium is located in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. It was built with Chinese assistance in the 1970s. This overhaul project aims to help Sierra Leone improve its sports infrastructure.
