OHLA awarded a $150 million contract to build Destination Sport Miami, the largest indoor multi-sports facility in North America

OHLA Building, a subsidiary of the Spanish group OHLA, was awarded a $150 million contract to build Destination Sport Miami, one of the largest indoor multi-sport facilities in North America.
Destination Sport Miami will have two NHL-regulation ice hockey rinks, an NFL-FIFA regulation turf field, 18 NBA-regulation basketball courts, 36 volleyball courts, 11 USTA-regulation (United States Tennis Association) hard surface tennis courts, a 1,400-square-meter E-Sports and Training Center, a 50-meter Olympic swimming pool, as well as a warm water therapeutic pool and a wave simulator for surfing. It will also provide users with various restaurants and lounges.
The new sports infrastructure will have nearly 1 million square feet of facilities.
