Three new metro lines to be built in Moscow

In the coming years, it is planned to build and open the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya, Biryulevskaya and Troitskaya lines of the Moscow metro in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.
“In the coming years, we plan to increase the metro by 50-60 stations, including the completion of the construction of the Big Circle Line and the opening of three new metro lines,” Sobyanin said.
It is also planned to upgrade the rolling stock of the Moscow tram by 100%, the metro and suburban rail services by 80%, and environmentally friendly electric buses should replace most of the diesel buses on the streets of Moscow.
