Enel initiates operation of 321 MW of solar, wind parks in US

Enel Green Power North America announced today it has commenced operating a couple of renewable energy plants in the US with a combined power generation capacity of 321 MW and 55 MW direct current (DC) of energy storage at one site.
The company has completed the 181-MW Lily solar-plus-storage project in Dallas, Texas, that features a utility-scale battery of 55 MW in DC.
In the meantime, Enel has finalised the 140-MW Rockhaven wind farm in Murray and Carter counties, Oklahoma.
Enel Green Power intends to invest USD 8 billion (EUR 7.1bn) in the addition of 6.5 GW of new renewables and 1.4 GW of storage capacity in North America by the end of 2024.
