17 November 2021
Dutch architect UNStudio has won a design competition for a 118,000 sq m residential complex at 31 Krzhizhanovskogo Street in southern Moscow for Russian project developer Glavstroy.
The 2ha project will include 71,000 sq m of housing, a kindergarten, fitness centre, commercial spaces and underground parking.
Called the K31 Courtyard, the project has two residential towers which are linked by a stepped podium which surrounds a private park. The towers face each other diagonally to maximise views and daylight, and their apartments have varied sizes to encourage a wide social mix of residents, and come with a choice of bay windows and french balconies.
