Egis, SSH land major road contract in Kuwait

French infrastructure group Egis, in a joint venture with SSH International, has signed a major road contract with the Ministry of Public Works of Kuwait.
The JV will provide supervision services for the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of Al Ghouse Road from 7th Ring Road to Fahaheel Ahmadi (RA 265), one of Kuwait's major collector road distributing local traffic and running parallel to roads 30 and 40.
The project is set to start mid-June 2021 with a duration of 39 months.
Egis has been involved in two previous sections of this major project since 2012.
The project aims to make a complete free flow road starting from 5th Ring Road to Fahaheel Ahmadi road. This section includes the rehabilitation and widening of 11km of Al Ghouse road, the construction of nine intersections (three elevated) and three footbridges.
